🟡 Partially Fixed Judder reduced after clutch bedding — new car issue

Brand new i30, judder from the first week. Dealer said it was normal and needed bedding in. Was sceptical but after about 1,500 miles of varied driving it did reduce significantly. Now at 8,000 miles and barely noticeable. Some clutches do need bedding in properly.

✅ Fixed Clutch judder was oil contamination from rear main seal

Terrible judder on take-off from cold. Thought it was worn clutch. Mechanic found the rear main seal had been seeping oil onto the clutch plate. Replaced rear main seal and clutch as the plate was contaminated. £520 all in. Smooth as new now.
