Hyundai i20 Mk3 1.0 T-GDI DCT shudder cold start
Shuddering and vibration from the drivetrain when pulling away from cold, particularly in stop-start traffic. The 7-speed DCT in the Hyundai i20 Mk3 uses a wet dual clutch design but is still susceptible to low-speed shudder when cold. A TCU software calibration update from a Hyundai dealer reduces the shudder frequency and severity. The DCT fluid must be changed at the 60,000 km service interval — neglecting this accelerates clutch wear.
