Renault Kadjar 1.5 dCi clutch judder and vibration
Vibration through the clutch pedal and drivetrain when engaging the clutch from rest. The Renault Kadjar 1.5 dCi manual transmission uses a dual mass flywheel (DMF) that can develop torsional chatter as the DMF spring pack wears. Testing with a specialist DMF diagnostic tool confirms DMF wear versus clutch plate wear. The correct repair is to replace the complete clutch kit including the DMF simultaneously — replacing only the clutch disc with a worn DMF causes rapid repeat failure.
