Carburetor icing in cold humid conditions
In humid conditions just above freezing, moisture in incoming air freezes around the throttle plate. The engine stumbles or stalls then clears as the engine warms. More common on the W115 because the carburetor is not heat-soaked.

Fit warm air intake hose directing warm air from exhaust manifold area to air filter.
